RULES
FOR FUNDED TRADERS
FUNDED TRADER PROGRAM RULES
STANDARD EVALUATION
Evaluation Time Limit: Up to 12 Months.
- The Evaluation Trader is allowed to go through the Evaluation Phase for up to 12 months to accommodate various trading strategies.
- If 12 months have passed, and the Evaluation Trader has not reached the Profit Target $ yet, CTI will terminate the funded account, and the Evaluation Trader will be disqualified.
Min Active Trading Days: 20 ATD
- The Evaluation Trader needs to have at least 20 Active Trading Days throughout the Evaluation Phase.
- The Active Trading Days are NOT calendar days.
- An Active Trading Day is a day the Evaluation Trader opens a new trade on a new day.
For example, if the Evaluation Trader opens EURUSD trade on Monday, and closes the same trade on Thursday, this counts as 1 Active Trading Day. The Active Trading Day that counts is the day that EURUSD was opened and not the full duration of the trade.
Stop Loss Risk: 1.5% Per Position
- The Evaluation Trader must have a Stop Loss placed as soon as possible for every and each pending limit order, stop order, and/or market order and for all open trades.
- The Evaluation Trader must have a Max Stop Loss of 1.5% of the Initial Account Balance for every market order, pending order, or stop order.
- Any trades closed without a Stop Loss will be considered a violation of our risk management guidelines.
- If the funded trader opens multiple positions on the same currency pair, each position's risk can be up to 1.5% of the initial account balance. So, the funded trader can open multiple positions with a 1.5% risk each. So, for example, if you wanted to risk 3% on a trade, you can split the risk into 2 positions, each 1.5% risk, but you cannot risk 3% into one position.
Formula: Max Risk Per Position = 1.5% x Initial Account Balance.
Max Loss: 5% Absolute Drawdown
- The Max Loss is a 5% Absolute Drawdown (fixed loss) from the Initial Balance.
- The fixed loss is defined as a 5% Loss of the Initial Account Balance (Not Relative).
- The losses can never exceed 5% of the Initial Account Balance.
Formula: Stop Out Level $ = Initial Account Balance - (5% x Initial Account Balance).

CLASSIC EVALUATION
Evaluation Time Limit: Unlimited.
- The Evaluation Trader is allowed to go through the Evaluation Phase for an unlimited time to accommodate various trading strategies.
- However, there will be an inactivity period of 30 days in which the Evaluation will be terminated if no trading activity has taken place. If you plan to take a break from trading for a period of more than 30 days, then please email our support to freeze your account until you're ready again to continue trading.

- The Max Loss is 5% Relative Drawdown $.
- The Relative Drawdown $ is the maximum difference from the Highest Account Realized Balance $ to the Lowest Account Balance and/or Equity value $ (including floating profit/loss).
- The losses can never exceed the value of the Maximum Relative Drawdown $ specified at the start of each Evaluation Phase (That is 5% x Initial account Size = RDD $).

FUNDED TRADER PROGRAMS FAQS
IF YOU DON’T FIND THE ANSWER, FEEL FREE TO ASK US
A QUESTION VIA THE LIVE CHAT.
How can I become a Funded Trader?
You must pass through an evaluation process based on the rules given by the prop firm to test your ability as a forex funded trader. Once you meet all the requirements you will qualify to get funded with a larger amount of capital. One of the biggest advantages of the funded trader program is that you can take advantage of the larger capital given to you.
What is a Funded Trader Program?
It is a program where a prop firm gives you access to a Forex Funded Account. There are rules that you must follow, such as max loss, hit a specific target, risk management rules etc... Each prop firm would put its own rules, however, we believe that the rules must be simple and easy to follow so the funded trader can focus on trading and performing well.
You can learn more about this in our blog article How to Become a Prop Trader, #1 Ultimate Guide for Beginners.
What is a Funded Account in Forex?
It is a trading account where you get access to a larger amount of capital to trade for us in exchange for a one-off fee. Some prop firms also charge a monthly subscription but we believe that works against the trader's favour so we don't charge any monthly fees once the initial payment is made.
How do Funded Accounts work?
If you were to trade on your personal account and you funded it with $500 and after a few months made a 30% profit. You would end up with only $150 profit only. However, with that same $500, if you were to join a Funded Trader Program with CTI, for example, with the same $10,000 starting balance and made a 30% profit after a few months, firstly, your account would have scaled up to $110,000 balance and you would have made a total profit share of $13,250. That's is 2,650% more profit with the same initial $500.
That's the power of getting funded with CTI.
How Much Can You Make as a Funded Trader?
What every funded trader make depends greatly on their performance, but that could be very lucrative anything between $60K to $1M a year. The most important aspect is to be able to be consistent and profitable over time and be able to generate profits month after month. With CTI the sky is the limit.
