What is the CTI 2-Step Challenge?
The 2-Step Challenge is CTI’s classic two-phase evaluation. Hit a 10% profit target in Phase 1 and a 5% profit target in Phase 2, with no time limit on either phase, and you’ll move to a funded account with an 80% profit share that scales up to 100% through our VIP program.
How does the drawdown work on the 2-Step?
The 2-Step uses a static drawdown of 10% of your
initial balance, plus a daily drawdown of 5% of your
start-of-day balance. Both are fixed dollar amounts
that don’t move as your account grows, so a
winning trade never eats into your remaining buffer.
Can I trade news, use EAs, or hold over weekends?
Yes to news, weekend holding, and overnight holding,
all allowed with no restrictions. Personal Expert
Advisors are permitted, but third-party EAs and
Martingale strategies are not.
Should I choose the 1-Step or 2-Step?
Both paths lead to the same place: a funded account
and real profit share. Choose the 1-Step if you want
to get there as fast as possible in a single phase, or
want the lowest entry cost. Choose the 2-Step if
you’d rather ease in with two smaller targets,
one phase at a time.
